Rainart is a focussed commander. Outside of Øst Tarn, the town he's responsible for, not much seems to exist.

Era I, chapter 178 : Radovan wonders whether the guard captain of Øst Tarn would help him.
Era I, chapter 180 : Rainart seeks out Grey and Kara, wanting to know if their presence promises trouble.
Era I, chapter 181 : Rainart is confident the walls of Øst Tarn will stop the demons.
